West Buckland School was founded in 1858 and is an independent day and boarding school set in 100 acres of beautiful North Devon countryside in the South West of England.
We currently have around 130 students studying A-levels in a range of subjects, enabling them to progress to degree courses of all kinds. Many students have been at West Buckland throughout their education, while increasing numbers are joining us after completing their GCSEs at other schools in the UK. We also welcome sixth formers from many other countries who wish to enjoy the unique ethos of the West Buckland School Sixth Form.

Our academic results are very strong, consistently placing us amongst the highest performing schools in the South West.
