We are Design-Make-Educate (DME).

We are very passionate about our work and know how important creativity is in a child's and adults life. Our classes as well as making, are based on research and the design process; without even realising you will be inspired, asking questions and exploring your own ideas. We combine art with design to create sustainable, thoughtful and imaginative work.

You or your child might have a keen interest in clothes and design but remember these classses are not about creating fashionistas; the fashion skills classes and workshops at DME are all about self expression. The skills needed in this area are vast and they will get chance to explore everything from research, sketching, pattern-cutting, sewing, illustration, measuring, dying and many many more.

​DME is ran by qualified teachers who have had many years in the fashion and design industry and have helped hundreds of young people graduate in their chosen creative field.

As working teachers in the creative sector seeing the Arts disappear slowly in our curriculum is heartbreaking to us and we hope our affordable classes will help inspire you to keep learning creatively.

Adult Weekly classes are on Tuesday and Thursday 7-9pm. Morning classes take place on Thursday 9.30am-12.30pm.

All classes take place at Greeson Hall, Digby Street, Scunthorpe, DN15 7LU. Parking is available.
