A quick equation.

Children are fun + photography is fun = fun, natural photographs of children.

And this really in a nutshell is it.

I completely get away from the standard sit, pose, say cheese, click photography that creates rigid posed fixed grin images of children. Which yes might look nice on grannies fireplace, but convey little of the natural, true nature of the child. So instead of you coming down to a studio, I prefer to come to you, for a relaxed, informal visit. Seeing the children play and just be kids in their own comfortable surroundings always results in beautiful, natural images of your loved ones you will want to cherish and keep forever.

Alternatively if you have a favorite family activity that you would like to capture. Like a walk in the country, a day at the beach, or a birthday party. Then meeting you at any Devon location for a shoot is also possible at no extra cost.

Talking of cost, I charge £35 for a portrait sitting of up to 6 children and adults, I do this so if friends and relatives want to come and get involved then they can. I actually actively encourage this because the more familiar people around, the more comfortable and distracted of the camera our little subjects will be. With this you will receive ten professionally produced images with full reproduction and ownership rights for you to do with what you want. these will normally be on a disc, but I can transfer them using any medium you desire. Additionally I have many options for all sizes of high quality prints and canvases available at very reasonable prices. My other work.

I have been living in the local area almost all my life, and my love of Devon and the surrounding coastline shines through in my unique and beautiful images. I have also spent many years traveling the world experiencing many different cultures and people, and my need to capture these fond memories has resulted in a natural love of photography and the still image.

I believe that when we look back and remember a fond memory. A day at the beach, a memorable walk, or a perfect moment, we do so in our minds eye. We picture it not how it was, but how we remember it. With a certain magic, a sprinkling of glitter, or a haze of ambiguity. With this in mind, I aim to convey a sense of warmth and fondness, magic and beauty in my images of the rugged Devon coastline, and surrounding local area.
