Peterlee Parachute Club 4.9

Peterlee Parachute Club has been located on Shotton Airfield for 25 years and remains in a leading position as the only parachute club in North East England from Berwick to York.

The club operates a Cessna 182 and a Cessna 208 Grand Caravan in the parachute role and cater for all types of parachute training.

Static Line or RAPS training courses are primarily run on the first weekend of every month, while tandem parachute courses are run almost every operating day. Courses can be run at other dates / times so call for information. Accelerated Freefall courses are run according to demand usually in the summer months. Progression training for sports parachutists continues right throughout the year.

Peterlee Parachute Club and Skydive Academy are also proud to host University Parachute Clubs from Durham (DUFFC), Newcastle (NUPC), Northumbria (NUTS) and Teesside (TUSC).

Shotton airfield is also the home of Shotton Aero Sports Club. This is a members club and is open during normal parachuting hours.
