Welcome to the Arlington estate, a home for treasures both man-made and natural, as diverse as it is peaceful. Owned by the Chichester family for over 500 years, it was given to the National Trust in 1949 by Miss Rosalie Chichester.

The National Trust Carriage Museum was established here in 1966. It showcases over forty Regency and Victorian carriages including the gold Speaker's State Coach, on loan from the House of Commons.
