Global ATS has the competencies to meet all statutory CAA and ICAO requirements, including CAP 670, and ICAO Annex 14 provisions, Global ATS consider this experience will provide invaluable support and experience to deliver the requirements of GAA.

We have enjoyed year on year growth which has been facilitated by our ability to adapt to our customers unique and varied requirements. This has allowed us to grow and diversify rapidly in recent years despite the global economic slowdown.

A strong feature of the Global ATS approach is its ability to draw upon the full resources of the key staff we have and Consultants we retain. A wide range of professional skills and knowledge has been built up over the last few years. In particular, the provision of ATC, FISO, Airport Services and ATE activities are core competencies that exist within the Company.

We began operating in the 1990’s as Bailbrook College which later became Rudloe College. Rudloe was acquired in 2004 then becoming Astac. Over the years the business has grown and diversified into new markets and in 2011 after a successful acquisition became Global ATS Limited.

We currently have two large training centres in the United Kingdom. Our ICAO training centre is situated on the south coast close to Brighton at Shoreham Airport - This 15,000 sq. ft. dedicated training centre is comprised of 1 large English language laboratory, 8 large classrooms and is capable of supporting up to 120 delegates at any one time. All the classrooms are equipped with SmartBoard™ projection technologies, PC’s and individual delegate study desks and chairs. The Simulation suite is capable of running up to 8 simulators simultaneously and can be configured to 2D, 3D Aerodrome or Radar control depending on specific course requirements. Students have access to a large student common room with lunch time catering service, internet and study area, and access to wireless internet, games room including Table tennis, pool and darts.

Our UK CAA approved training centre is located in the Cotswolds town of Cheltenham at Gloucestershire Airport. This training centre has 5 classrooms and can accommodate up to 35 delegates and enjoys the same high level of appointment as our Shoreham ICAO training centre.

We also have satellite training sites in Madrid, Spain at the Universidad Camilo José Cela, where 30 Spanish delegates are sitting the Aerodrome course as well as a training centre in Baghdad, Iraq located at Baghdad International Airport currently doing a long term English Language course.

During the last few years we have diversified in to Airport, Air Traffic Control and wider Aviation consultancy work in the areas of FISO training Safety Management training, ANSP Approvals, Airport Management, Greenfield ATC Change Management and the development of Safety Management Systems.
