We opened the farm shop in 1999 and since then it has been the fastest growing sector of the business and the busiest farm shop in the region.

Our cattle come from suckler herds giving them the very best start in life and we hang our beef for four weeks providing cuts of optimum quality, full of taste, meltingly tender and free of growth promoters and hormones.

Our lambs thrive on the rich natural pastures around Cannon Hall Farm producing delicious meat with a wonderful depth of taste.

Our sows are from a breed specially developed to produce pork with tenderness, flavour and a little more fat that keeps meat succulent during cooking. Supermarkets prefer pork that grows fast and stays lean. See if you can taste the difference.

We produce superb sausages in more than 20 varieties and exceptional dry cured bacon and ham, cured on site.

You'll discover quality fresh fruit and vegetables sourced locally wherever possible and marketed with an emphasis on seasonality.

We stock an extensive range of cook shop items designed to inspire the enthusiastic amateur chef with household names at competitive prices which often beat those on the high street.

The most jaded palate cannot fail to be inspired by the variety and scope of fine food on display and the shelves are weighed down with jams, marmalades, chutneys, sauces, biscuits, cakes and excellent teas and coffees.

We market food produced with principles and integrity delivering quality meat from the farm on which it was produced.

We are proud that despite tremendous growth in demand all but a small proportion of the meat for sale in our counter comes from our own animals.
